The standards for Comelit.
Quality assurance
Comelit has always recognized the importance of standards as fundamental and internationally shared technical rules that save time and resources, eliminate redundant processes, increase efficiency and ensure reliable and safe products according to the state of the art. Moreover, compliance with the reference standards makes it possible to ensure the conformity of the products, processes and services provided and to effect change, with a view to continuous improvement over time.
For this reason, Comelit actively participates in the technical committees that develop industry standards and adheres to the most important trade associations, in order to be always up-to-date with regard to the main European product directives and regulations, as well as regulations from non-EU areas and technical standards related to the products designed and marketed.
Comelit has been managing and maintaining the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 for 30 years and the Environmental Management System in compliance with ISO 14001:2015 for almost 20 years: these two international standards, for a company with great ambitions, are no longer just a distinguishing feature, but are necessary requirements to have access to the global market.
Our official documents.
Comelit is directly involved in drafting all conformity assessment procedures for products placed on the market, so as to ensure compliance with the requirements defined in the provisions of the relevant legislation.
Through internal pre-compliance testing and collaborations with accredited testing laboratories, Comelit oversees both the conformity assessment process of its products, as well as product certification, conducts periodic supplier assessment audits, and ensures that the product technical file is aligned with changes made to the product throughout its life cycle.
“Comelit’s next challenge is to make regulatory compliance a strategic and conscious choice, a tool for growing corporate culture, aimed at strengthening its credibility and authority in the market”.
